Robert Edward (Bob) Campbell, Jr.
1940-2011
 
 Robert Edward (Bob) Campbell, Jr., 71, St. Joseph, Missouri, died Thursday, September 22, 2011 at his home.
 He was the youngest of four children born to Robert Sr., and Nevelle Combs Campbell at home in St. Joseph, Missouri.  He was baptized into the Methodist Christian faith and was a member of Holsey Chapel Ind. Christian Methodist Church.
 Bob attended and graduated from the Bartlett Elementary and Central High schools and Missouri Western State University.
 He served in the United States Air Force branch of the armed services.
 He was united in Holy Matrimony to Doris Williams, who preceded him in death, at Wichita Falls, Texas.  Of this union was born three children.
 Bob was employed by Bendix, Quaker Oats, At&T, St. Joseph Water Company, Friskies corporations and taught at Platte Community College.   
 Bob was also preceded in death by his parents and leaves to mourn his passing two sons, Robert E. (Sophia) Campbell III, Wichita Falls, Texas and Christopher L. Jones, Kansas City, Missouri; two daughters, Ola (Gregory) Pickens, Killeen, Texas and Donna (Howard) Wherry, Wichita Falss, Texas; two sisters, Loretta Dodd and Roberta (Roland) Tillman, St. Joseph; brother, Harold (Waverline) Moore, Colorado Springs, Colorado; three aunts, Vietta (Rudy) Glasper, St. Louis, Missouri and Elise A. Hughes, Kansas City, Kansas, Florence Combs, Hiawatha, Kansas; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
      (Services:)  10:00 A.M. Wednesday, Holsey Chapel.  Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery. The Family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.  Mr. Campbell will be moved to the church one hour prior to service.
