Gloria was family to me even though we weren’t related. I loved our telephone conversations punctuated with “well that’s my story” She related many events that took place in our past.
When I was very little she took me to the movies at the Missouri theater, and was disgusted at how many times I had to go to the bathroom. I spent many hours with Gloria and Aunt Annabeth. I miss them both.
my first association withthe bockleman family was through working at the packing houses.I met gloria’s son gary and became friends.I talked several times throughout the years with gloria about her and her family. I will miss these conversations. She will be greatly missed.
I have known the Bockelman family over 40 years as neighbors and friends. Gloria was one of a kind and I thought the world of her and Gene, always there to help you if needed. She will be missed, but is with her family once again which she loved dearly.
RIP Gloria
