Wilma N. Blair

1922-2012

 

      Wilma Blair went to be with her parents, John H. Hatcher and Bertha (Newman) Hatcher in heaven. She passed away on May 4, 2012 at Saxton Riverside.

      She was born July 6, 1922 in St. Joseph, Missouri.

      She was preceded in death by her brother, Orville F. Hatcher of Yakima, Washington.

      She married Harold Thomas and to this union they had two daughters, Linda (Thomas) Hardy and Diane (Thomas) Haskey (Steven). They later divorced. She later married L. Clark Blair, he preceded her in death.

      She had six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Also she had one step son, Roger Blair (Sandra), two step grandsons, and three step great-grandsons.

      Wilma was a member of Copeland Baptist Church, member and chairperson of South Park PTA and chairperson of March of Dimes Drive and United Way Drive. She worked at Sunday school and nursery along with being a teacher at Copeland Baptist Church.

       Services:  1:00 P.M. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.  The Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.  In lieu of flowers you can make donations to Copeland Baptist Church or Kendallwood Hospice.
