Barry & family—-i am saddened by the loss of Hazel, and proud to have been a friend and loved one. In my whole life—no other person or family has given me more love and friendship and great memories—than my own family. A great lady, and i will miss her. She made a pillow for me about 25 years ago. I still have that pillow and it will be a cool memory of her for years to come. My sincere condolences, Love, Rick
I remember my Aunt Hazel as a kind and welcoming person who helped me understand my mom, her sister, after her death and who gave me compassionate advice. She holds a place in my heart always.
When visiting our Aunt Roma on Sunday, my sisters and I learned of Hazel’s passing and expend our sympathy to all of you. We will always remember her and Leonard as our Great Aunt and Uncle with the horses and children of Mary who was always laughing, Susan who had beautiful long hair, and Barry who had a beautiful singing voice! I still have a memory of a pleasant conversation that took place 38 years ago with Hazel and Susan about my high school friendship with the youngest son of the Bartley family and about your family’s friendship with them as well. Even though our families have lost touch over the years, our memories of your mother will never be forgotten.
God Bless, Cathy (Petersen) Hansen, Cheryl (Petersen) Bush, Christy (Petersen) Heim
