Sherry Lynn Burley, 58, St. Joseph, Missouri died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at her home.
She was born February 13, 1954 to Otto and Susie Mae (Tate) Kissick in St. Joseph.
She married Clarence Edward Burley October 23, 1970.
Mrs. Burley worked as a dietician and in housekeeping for a local nursing home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Randy Kissick, and mother and father-in-law, Thelma and Paul Burley.
Survivors: her husband; sons, Christopher Burley, Danny Burley (Nancy), and David Burley; sisters, Judy McKnight, Bonnie Carpenter, Peggy Ebel, Diane Jones, and Norma Zikowski; brothers, James, Charles, Larry, and Bill Kissick; grandchildren, Tommy, Jessica, Mersadies, Tyler, Austin, Serenity, Kayla, and Brett; three great-grandchildren, Eli, Blaze, and Sincere.
Services: 1:00 P.M. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mr. Burley, I am Jeremy Brackens mother Debbie! I am so sorry for all of this! But I do want you to know my son Jeremy has been off any kinds of drugs for at least 2 years now and he even quit smoking! He works and raises his sons and stay out of trouble. When he was hanging with Chris and David he was a different boy! Now he is back to the same way he was before he started drugs! I hope your boys find GOD in their lifes and go straight! Their Mother would of wanted it! I feel so sorry for her having to put up with the 3 sons! May GOD be with you and yours!
