      Raymond A. Hoover, Jr., 42, St. Joseph, Missouri died Friday, June 15, 2012 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. 

      He was born February 6, 1970 to Raymond Andrew Sr. and Bonnie Jean (Boller) Hoover in St. Joseph, Missouri.

      He married Mendy Lininger on July 21, 2006.

      Mr. Hoover worked for Midwest Scrap Management as a machine operator.

      Raymond was a beloved father, “favorite brother and uncle”, and a wonderful husband.

      He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents.

      Survivors: his wife, Mendy Hoover; six children, Elaina, Chance, Raymond, Mikel, Katie Jo and Lane; five sisters, Diane Crofford, Brenda Boeh, Sr. (Chuck), Paula Honeycutt (Tonie), Peggy Buch (Ray) and Patti McKinney (David); and mother-in-law, Helen Lininger.

      Services:  3:00 P.M. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.  The Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory where friends may call after 5:00 P.M. Sunday.

    mendy we have been neighbors over here for many yrs. and i have known ramond even before that and i can always remember every day seeing him and him sayin some smartass comment but it never made me mad only laugh and say ur a dickhead, raymond.i saw the babies in chelseas pool yesterday and they asked me how i was doing. the only thing i can say to that is that is that kids are a wonder and strength for parents.use it.and any of us around here because as u know u could stand on ur porch and holler and about ten people would say “yeah”love u girl and am here whenever u wanna talk cry or yell. rest in peace raymie.
