Mary Ann Fenner
September 9, 1920 – July 1, 2012
Mary Ann Fenner passed away Sunday night, July 1, 2012. Devoted wife of the late George H. Fenner, wonderful mother of Michael, Gary, and Bob Fenner, and extraordinary grandmother of nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mary Ann is survived by her three sons, their wives, Anne Fenner, Peggy McGraw, and Diane Fenner, their children, Hilary Dessouky and Ben Fenner, Kate, Luke, Jesse, and Wyatt Fenner, and Max McGraw, five great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann’s sense of adventure, known to all, had its roots in her upbringing — raised, with her four brothers, by seven loving and free-spirited aunts, in a house filled with fun. She carried this throughout her life, as a ready friend, spirited wife, supportive mother, and the Auntie Mame of grandmothers, always up for a last minute trip, a quick card game, a story or two, or a day at Worlds of Fun.
Celebration of Life, 10:00 A.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Dear Gary and Fenner Family,
I am sorry to hear of Mary Ann’s death. She and Mom were good friends, and it was always fun to see Mary Ann. A few months before Mom died, Lennie and I took her to Kansas City to visit Mary Ann. Seeing her was good for Mom, because Mary Ann was just as lively and fun as ever. I know that you and all of her friends will miss her–she was a special person.

Gary, Mike and Bob,
Your Mom was one of the most wonderfu ladies that I have known. I met her when Gary & I were in the first grade and always admired the smile she had for everyone and the fun stories she had to tell! You were so lucky to have her for this many years and she was grateful to see her 3 boys accomplish so much and raise such fine families!!!
I still carry many stories Mary Ann and George would share with me. Always had time for family. She loved sending packages to her grand children with funny stickers all over it. What fun it was to help her You all are in my prayers.
