Dr. Jesus Mario Decanini-Tornessi, 89, St. Joseph, Missouri died July 1, 2012 at his home.
Dr. Decanini-Tornessi was born in Monterrey, Mexico, on December 8, 1922, to Antonio and Maria (Tornessi) Decanini. He received his doctorate degree in Psychiatric Medicine. Dr. Decanini has been a resident of St. Joseph for the past forty years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Gersumina Decanini Tornessi and his brother, Sergio Decanini Tornessi.
He is survived by two nieces, Gina Gonzalez Decanini (Hector Garza), Mexico and Gianinna Claretta Gonzalez Decanini.
Memorial Service 1:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Father Jorge Ramirez officiating. The Family suggests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Association.
