Betty J. Crossfield, 77, St. Joseph, Missouri died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 30, 1935 to William M. and Thelma E. (Roark) Lytton in Agency, Missouri.
She married Buddy Ray Crossfield November 3, 1952, who preceded her in death on August 27, 2011.
Mrs. Crossfield had worked as a cable winder for Custom Cable, then at Sherwood Medical and most recently at Hallmark.
Betty attended Bible Baptist and Agency Christian Church. She was a member of American Legion Post #359 and Ladies Auxiliary.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dixie Tucker and Geri Michaels; brother, Bob Lytton; four grandchildren, Kevin Crossfield, Jr., Ricky Moore, Scott Moore and Dawn Crossfield; and two great-grandchildren, Caden Blanton and Tyler Chavez.
Survivors: her three sons, Rick (Anna) Crossfield, Kevin Crossfield and Gary Crossfield, all of St. Joseph; three daughters, Debra Kelly (Pat), Terri Aguilar (Companion, Rikk) and Robin Crossfield (Companion, Randy), all of St. Joseph; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Donnie (Karen) Lytton, Austin, Texas and Ronnie Lytton, St, Joseph.
Services: 10:00 A.M. Monday, Bible Baptist Temple, Riverside and Mitchell. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The Family will receive friends 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Mrs. Crossfield will be removed from Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory to arrive at the church one hour prior to the service.
