William “Bill” Morris Goy
1951-2012
William “Bill” Morris Goy, 61, St. Joseph, Missouri died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Heartland Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was born February 5, 1951 to Morris and Marianna (Estes) Goy. William married Marcia Deitchler on June 5, 1971.
Mr. Goy worked in the insurance industry and law enforcement. He was a long time member of Ashland United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by Morris and Marianna (Estes) Goy.
Survivors: his wife, Marcia; daughters, Alicia Morgan (Tyler), St. Joseph, Missouri, Dlo DuVall (Brian), St. Joseph, Missouri, Lana Horoho (Adam), Warsaw, Indiana; sister, Charis Ann Cox (Jesse), Savannah, Missouri; grandchildren, Blake, Ridge, and Chase Morgan, Ashlynn, Calvin, and Lauren DuVall, and Jack and Ryan Horoho; Stepmother, Nancy Goy, Omaha, Nebraska; and nieces and nephews.
Services: 3:00 P.M. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment Ashland Cemetery. The Family will receive friends 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The Family suggests memorial gifts to Ashland United Methodist Church or the Noyes Home.
