Russell “Russ” W. Allen, Jr., 28, St. Joseph, Missouri died Monday, July 30, 2012 at his home.
He was born July 10, 1984 to Russell W. Allen, Sr. and Lisa M. (Brewer) Huffman.
Russ loved bowling and watching “Little House on the Prairie” and “The Price is Right”. He also enjoyed music and his cars.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandfather, J.D. Allen and grandfather, Don Brewer.
Survivors: his mother and step-father, Chris Huffman, St. Joseph; brother, Mark Allen; sister, Salena Huffman; grandmothers Rena Brewer and Squeaky Jones; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles; and three nieces and six nephews.
Services 1:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where friends may call after 2:00 P.M. Wednesday. The Family suggests memorial gifts to Three Angels Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 5302 Mitchell Avenue, St. Joseph MO 64507-2513.

I remember Russ from Camp Quality several years ago. He was a nice young man. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this sad time.

Grew up with Russ and haven’t seen him in years, but very sad to hear he’s gone. He was such a sweet heart and will be missed by many. Praying for you all!
Russ was in our cabin at Camp Quality and we really enjoyed his being at Camp Quality and sharing with us. My prayers are with you.
