Anna B. (Joe) Scott
1923-2012
Anna B. Scott, 89, St. Joseph, Missouri, died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at a local healthcare facility.
She was born January 27, 1923 to Clyde & Bessie (Williams) Joe, in St. Joseph, MO where she lived most of her life, except for three years when she was in Arizona.
She was a graduate of Central High School.
She married George S. Scott in 1940 and had been married for 53 years at the time of his passing in 1994.
She worked at Noma Lites and Wolfs Camera, did court transcription for an attorney, and most recently worked as a secretary for Woodson Chapel Christian Church, of which she was a member.
She is the mother of four children, son, George C. Scott(Sherrie), daughter Judy Haynes(Bob),daughter Jo Ann McMillen, who preceded her in death, and son Richard Scott(Dianne); grandchildren, Barbara Barr, Rick Scott(Paula), Allen McMillen, Kevin Scott, and Joshua Scott; and great grandchildren Jacob, Nathan, Johnna, Joshua, Payton Scott, and Lauren Barr, and Kyle Barr, who passed away in 2009 at the age of 18.
(Services:) 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where friends may call after 5:00 PM Monday. The Family suggests memorial gifts to the Living Community Elevator Fund.
We were so sorry to hear this news. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed.

Just read about Anna. Anna was such a nice person. I know mom loved being her roommate. I know it will be quite an adjustment for you, as it was for our family when mom passed away.
