Dalton Lee Smith, 19, St. Joseph, Missouri died Friday, August 17, 2012 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
He was born December 5, 1992 to Michael Patrick and Maureen (DeHart) Smith in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Dalton loved playing for Central High School’s football and baseball teams and was an avid sports fan. In 2011, he was an All-City Lineman.
Survivors: his parents, St. Joseph; sister, Amber Schubert, Little Rock, Arkansas; brothers, Mitchell Schubert, St. Joseph; Brandon Smith, Kansas City, Missouri; Aaron and Connor Smith, St. Joseph; grandparents, Melvin and Pat Smith; grandfather, Paul DeHart and grandmother, Carol DeHart; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, Central Christian Church, Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family suggests memorial gifts to Central Christian Church.
