Myrna L. Peters, 68, St. Joseph, Missouri died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at her home.

She was born February 28, 1944 to Pete and Mary Hale in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Myrna married Jerry Peters on April 5, 1983. He survives of the home.

She was an avid pet lover, enjoyed her horses, liked to cook, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Peters was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mike Hale; sister, Judy Babb; and step-son, Steven Peters.

Survivors: husband, Jerry Peters; daughter, Tina Thomas, Faucett, Missouri; Son, Mike Wilson, Stewartsville, Missouri; step-daughter, Michelle Conkling, South Carolina; step-son, Zach Peters, South Carolina; grandchildren, Tiffany, Tabatha, Michael, Keegan, Mark, Michala, Lauren, Michael Scott, Rachel, Steven, Jacob, Alysse, Stephanie, Jillian; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Delores Beck, Mary Nichols, Donna Buehler, and Vickie Simpson, all of St. Joseph, Missouri.

    Sorry to hear of your loss. I always thought Myrna was a very pleasant and hard working person. I did not know her real well but I always thought she was a soft spoken and caring about her friends. I am sure she will be missed by all her family and many friends.
