Troy Douglas Wilson, 20, St. Joseph, Missouri died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at his home.

He was born March 5, 1993 to Douglas and Kerry (McClure) Wilson in Kansas City, Missouri.

Troy was a 2011 Graduate of Central High School where he was in the Marching Band and played trumpet since sixth grade. He was attending Missouri Western State University majoring in Business.

He was a member of Wyatt Park Christian Church and Youth Group, Boy Scouts of America, and the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He also enjoyed playing video games on Xbox and spending time with friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Roy McClure; and maternal grandmother, Sue McClure.

Survivors: sister, Ashley; halfbrother, Nathan Meyers (Elise); halfsisters, Brenda and Christina Wilson; paternal grandparents, Norman Wilson (Arlea); maternal grandparent, Mary Ann McClure; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services:  10:00 A.M. Monday, Wyatt Park Christian Church. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.  Flowers are appreciated and for those wishing to make a contribution, the family requests they be made to Pony Express Council of the Boy Scouts of America or Wyatt Park Christian Church.
