  14. Jeffery krumme says:

    Family of Billy Roe,
I am so sorry for your loss. I had no idea of what happened until another old schoolmate of mine came back into my life and mentioned it to me. I would have visited you during visitation had I known.
I’m sure William is proper, but he will always be Billy to me. Billy and I knew each other from grade school. We were in Kindergarten together and ran together with Albert McDowell and Dennis Hampton through 6 grades. We were a team. In fact my wife and i purchased Hamptons house on Sycamore and live next to Billy’s house when growing up.
Again let me say how sorry I was and am for losing Billy at such a young age. Death is never easy to handle no matter what age we are. We have the confidence that our Creator remembers us and the hope of the resurrection is held out for all mankind. God has a yearning to bring us back. Job 14:15
May the comfort of the resurrection bring you comfort in these days that lie ahead.

    Jeff Krumme

  15. Chris "Adams" Fortune says:

To the family of Billy Roe,
Like Jeff Krumme mentioned above, I also grew up will Billy as a kid, I lived on 14th street just about 2 blocks from his house. We went to school together all the way thru 8th grade and then my family moved to Montana. I just recently got reconnected to some other friends in St. Joe from my younger years and they just informed me that Billy has passed away. Not sure what the circumstances were, but 51 is awful young and I’m sorry to hear of his passing. He was indeed a nice, quiet person but was a good friend of mine when we were growing up. Please say hello to his brothers for me, I think they will remember me. My condolences to all of Billy’s family and friends.
