Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory Mission Statement

Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory was established in 1894. For five generations the Meierhoffer Family has provided the highest quality of funeral and cremation services.

Our facility located at 5005 Frederick Boulevard in St. Joseph, Missouri was opened November 2004. This facility offers the greatest range of services for the community including:

The crematory has an attractively decorated and comfortably integrated family viewing area, where family members may witness as well as participate in the cremation process.

Family members may participate by actuating the cremation process from controls located in the viewing room. This option is particularly important for persons of certain faiths. Meierhoffer Funeral Home and Crematory has and always will strive to accommodate the needs of all faiths as their customs dictate.

Our community room may be scheduled for a meal or gathering for your family and friends.

The room is also available for organizations and community meetings and events, subject to availability.
