There are many local resources for grief and bereavement support.  Listed below are some of these organizations, contact numbers and a brief description of the services they offer.

A comprehensive, award-winning collection of grief management materials suitable for personal use, school, church or other organizations.

To check materials out and view at your home and return — $105 Deposit

Hands of Hope Hospice                         816-271-7190

Hands of Hope Hospice offers a variety of support groups and activities for bereaved persons.  The groups and activities are not limited to families who have had hospice services.  Anyone is welcome to attend without charge.  Listed below are the regularly scheduled meeting times.  Please call 816-271-7190 for information.
