Charlie “Chuck” Brown

Charlie “Chuck” Brown, 81, Country Club, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017, at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph.
He was born October 5, 1936, to Richard and Ophelia Brown in St. Joseph Missouri. Chuck graduated from Lafayette High School and later joined the U.S. Air Force. Following his service, he became the supervisor of meter readers at the American Water Co.
He married Clara Nichols in 1956. She survives of the home.
Chuck was a member of Tes Trams Club. He was a bartender at Moila Country Club, St. Joseph Country Club, and Benton Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Country Club, Missouri; children, Charles Brown (Paula), La Verne, California, Ray Brown, St. Joseph, Rebecca Coon (Ernest), St. Joseph, Timothy Brown (Lisa), Savannah, Missouri; Pierce Brown (Heidi), Elwood, Kansas; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Farewell Services 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 7, Hope Fellowship Church. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 6, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Flowers are appreciated and for those wishing to make a contribution, the family requests they be made to Hope Fellowship Church.
