Clayton Owen Harman
Clayton Owen Harman, 82, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Mosaic Life Care.
He was born September 10, 1934 to Clayton and Goldie (Salisbury) Harman, they preceded him in death.
Clayton married Mary Mejia January 3, 1981, she survives of the home.
He was a pipefitter for IHP Local 45 for thirty-three years. Clayton was a member of Local 45 for fifty years, and was a member of Eastside Lions Club.
Clayton enjoyed working with his roses, reading and doing crossword puzzles, woodworking and walking his dog Precious. He was a man of honor, integrity, and loyalty. Clayton had a big heart, was unafraid of hard work, and always stepped up to help friends or family in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Sam Mejia.
Additional survivors include children, Doug Harman (Tina), Chris Kluska (Tom), Karen Woodbury (Mark), Linda Witt (Chuck), Jerry Harman (Lynne), step-son, Jay Mejia (Meredith); grandchildren, Tyler Harman, Sean Harman, Haylee Kelly, Kylie Dowell, Ross Woodbury, Nick Woodbury, Cody Messner, Cassie Pope, Beth Verbick, Christopher Witt, Melissa Miller, Ben Harman, Claire Harman, Christopher Mejia, Amanda Westall, Katie Fischer, Sabrina Mejia; twenty great-grandchildren; sisters, Joy Harvey and Janice Blatter; mother of his children, Helen Gribble; and his beloved dog, Precious.
Natural Farewelll under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will gather with friends 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
