Obituary for Donald D. Stanley

Donald D. Stanley, 85, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at 7:30 P.M.
He was born March 23, 1932, to Harvey and Phoebe Stanley in Brookfield, Missouri. Donald was raised in Marceline, Missouri.
Donald retired from the former Trans World Airlines, now Northwest Airlines.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, collecting coins, and sports – especially the Kansas City Chiefs. He also had a passion for trains.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harvey Nelson Jr., Leslie Lane, Fred A., and Gerald G.
Survivors include sisters, Naoma Marie Morgan and Ava May Frock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Farewell Services 1:00 P.M. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 12 Noon to 1:00 P.M. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Flowers are appreciated and for those wishing to make a contribution, the family requests they be made to the Salvation Army or St. Luke’s Hospital.
