Harold Brewster “H.B.” Taylor, III
1967-2017

Harold Brewster “H.B” Taylor, III, of McKinney, Texas passed away November 24, 2017, at the age of 50. He was born August 7, 1967, to Harold Brewster Taylor, Jr., and Constance (Vanfossan) Taylor in St. Joseph, Missouri. H.B. married Beth Keely on July 25, 1990 in Kirksville, Missouri.
H.B. attended Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, where he studied chemistry but discovered a passion for computers. He then followed that passion to work for Quaker Oats in St. Joseph in 1994 and then continued to work for them until they were acquired by PepsiCo in the IT field. He was a senior manager at the time of his passing.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold Brewster Taylor, Sr., Pauline Taylor, and Kermit Vanfossan; first wife, Ima; second wife, June; and his brother-in-law Chris Valencia.
H.B. is survived by his wife, Beth Taylor, of McKinney, Texas; two sons, Keegan and Cameron Taylor, also of McKinney, Texas; parents, Bruce and Connie Taylor, of St. Joseph, Missouri; sister, Amy Valencia, of Shawnee Mission, Kansas, and Rachel Rush, of St. Joseph, Missouri; brother, Eric Taylor, of Barnard, Missouri; and many other loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Farewell Services 10:00 A.M. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory with a reception following in the Meierhoffer community room. A memorial service was held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 29th at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, Allen, Texas. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his name to the Esophageal Cancer Awareness Association (ECAA) or the American Cancer Society (ACS).
