Hazel F. Bleich

Hazel F. Bleich, 89, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018, at her home.
She was born December 16, 1928, to John “Jack” and Pearl (Damgar) Carmichael in Pickering, Missouri.
Hazel married Otto Bleich, Jr., August 31, 1947. He preceded her in death October 1, 2008.
She was a retail manager for most of her life.
Hazel was a member of Huffman United Methodist Church. She liked flowers, yard work, reading and loved nature. Hazel was a passionate sports fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Survivors include her son, Otto Bleich (Connie), St. Joseph; daughters, Donna Leaverton (Eddie) Donalsonville, Georgia, and Debbie Swafford (Joe), St. Joseph; grandchildren, Eddie, Lisa, Amber, Ashley, April, and Rachael; great-grandchildren, Eddie, Josh, Powell, Dakota, Brody, Lacy, Laura, Sky, A.J., William, Emmilynn, Eastyn, and Tenley; great-great-grandchildren, Cordie and Noah; brothers, Virgil (Margueritte) Carmichael and John (Donna Mae) Carmichael; and three nieces.
Farewell Services 1:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service.
