Lesley (Dunham) Johnson

Lesley (Dunham) Johnson, 65, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018, at her home.
Lesley was born to Lorin and Elizabeth Dunham on July 18, 1952, in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended high school at Central High School in St. Joseph and graduated in 1970. She then went on to obtain her bachelor’s degree at Missouri Western State University, and later her Master’s of Science in Psychology at Northwest Missouri State University. She had been employed with Northwest Behavioral Health for the past 15 years. Mental health was one of her lifelong passions.
Lesley was a loving, beautiful, and caring soul who lived for her family. She was blessed with four beautiful grandsons as well as a niece, great-niece, and great-nephew. Lesley found joy in reading, drawing, movies, traveling, her beloved Shetland Sheepdogs, and spending time with her loved ones.
Lesley is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth; her father, Lorin Dunham; her sister, Ann Conway; and her nephew, Patrick Conway.
Lesley is survived by her daughter, Sarah Johnson (Ryan Mills); her four grandsons, Chase, Andrew, Jackson, and Benjamin; her niece, Beth Conway; her great-niece, Molly; her great-nephew, Brett; her lifelong best friend, Suzie Davis; and countless family and friends.
