Obituary for Lisa Renee Clark

Lisa Renee Clark

One of the world’s biggest hearts has stopped beating. Lisa Renee Clark died March 8, 2018, surrounded by her family. She had two terrible bouts with the flu that were ultimately too much to fight off.
Lisa was born June 16, 1968, but she wasn’t alone. She has a twin sister. They were adopted by Bob and Kay Clark. The family settled in Kansas City where Lisa lived most of her life. In her blood were a combination of Royal blue and Chiefs red. That might be why her favorite color was purple.
Lisa was a graduate of Oak Park High School, Class of 1986. She was also a proud Lion from Missouri Southern State University. She graduated with a degree in Communications.
Lisa worked in radio in St Joseph, Missouri, and I.T. for the State of Missouri while living in Joplin. She and her girls came back to Kansas City about twenty years ago where she focused on her most important job of being a mom. Her daughters Rachel Ann (Reynolds) Cross of Kansas City and Shauna Lee Reynolds of Muncie, Indiana, are extraordinary! Rachel is now mom to Grace Marie and Diabella Lynn, which gave Lisa her best job, Grandma. She was very good at it!
Celebration of Life 11:00 A.M. Thursday, Vineyard Community Church, 8301 Lamar Ave., Overland Park, Kansas. Interment Terrace Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri. The family will gather with friends after the service Thursday, Vineyard Community Church. Lisa never liked wearing black to funerals, so please join us in honoring her in a bright color. There will be a private graveside service for the family later that day.
The family request donations made to the family for a college fund for her two grandchildren. To donate online or sign the online guestbook, please visit Lisa’s Tribute Page at and select Donate Now.
