Louise (Ford) Schwichtenberg

Gertie Louise (Ford) Schwichtenberg, 72, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Mosaic Life Care.
She was born February 15, 1945 in Meigs County, Tennessee.
Louise married Jerry Schwichtenberg on March 26, 1966; he survives of the home.
She was a medical transcriber for over 30 years. Louise also volunteered for Hospice and was a member of Green Valley Baptist Church.
Louise enjoyed and won awards for her cooking. More than anything she loved time spent with family and spoiling everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Gertie Sanders and granddaughter, Ashley Blum.
Survivors also include daughters, Stefanie Nold, Amy Blum (Douglas), Mandy Burkeybile; son, Charles Schwichtenberg (Kim); grandchildren, Kaleigh, Casey, Joshua, Andrew, Rebecca, Ashley S., Andrew S., Adam, Ona, Max; brother, J.P. Ford (Joy); sister-in-law, Sharon Tomczyk (George); 4 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Farewell Services 3:00 P.M. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment Calhoun, TN Cemetery at a later date. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. For those wishing to make a contribution, the family requests they be made to YWCA Women’s Shelter, Red Cross Disaster Relief or Hillcrest Transitional.
