Nina M. Lasley

Nina M. Lasley, 97, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at a local healthcare facility.
She was born September 8, 1919 to Wilford and Edith (Crum) Mason.
Nina married Harold Lasley September 16, 1939, he precedes her in death.
She was a secretary for many years and retired from St. Joseph Light and Power Company.
Nina loved music, going dancing, and bowling. She was also a wonderful seamstress. Nina was a member of the Lafayette High School Lampion Honor Society and wore her pendant proudly.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Jerry Engle.
Survivors include daughter, Janice Engle; son, Ronald Lasley (Madelyn), grandsons, Jason Lasley (Brandi), Paul Engle (Jeanna); granddaughters, Tina Jordan (Darryl), Tracey Szczepanik (Richard), Tisha Lasley (Annie), Tanya Engle; great grandchildren, Joshua Elliott, Dakota Engle, Dylan Lasley (Jessica), Shelby Simon (Lyle), Bryce Szczepanik (Rachel), Hannah Swords, Mariah Jordan; great-great grandchildren, Claire Lasley, McClain and Milo Szczepanik; several step great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Farewell Services 10:30 A.M. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Online guest book and obituary at
