Paul W. Kunz

Paul W. Kunz, 71, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018, at Mosiac Life Care.
He was born June 23, 1946 in Cosby, Missouri to Ivan and Geneva (Butler) Kunz.
Paul married Paul D. Roberts December 31, 2015; he survives of the home.
He farmed for 34 years in Cosby, was a member of American Angus Association and was on the Board of Directors of the Maryville CO-OP. Paul proudly served in the Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a Master Sergeant of the 139th Airlift Wing. Recently, he was a substitute teacher for the St. Joseph School District.
Paul enjoyed landscaping and worked for Moffet Nursery. He was very active in the St. Joseph Community Chorus.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Bob Chesney.
Additional survivors include his children, Andrew Kunz, Justine Valdivia (Matthew), Albert Kunz; sisters, Martha Chesney, Ellen Curtin (John); mother of his children, Sumalee Kunz; 3 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Farewell Services 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, First Christian Church, St. Joseph. Inurnment Cosby Zion Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family requests donations be made to St. Joseph Community Chorus.
