Scott Allen Oliver
1976-2018

Scott Allen Oliver, 41, Union Star, Missouri, formerly of Savannah, Missouri, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018, at his home.
He was born May 28, 1976, to Steve and Diane (McElfresh) Oliver in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Scott married Missy Jo Gillip on August 28, 2016. She survives of the home.
He was a volunteer firefighter in Savannah for many years. Scott enjoyed collecting marbles and antiques but loved his children and spending time with his family more than anything.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Allen and Margaret Mary (James) McElfresh and Frank M. Oliver, and his uncle, John Allen “Johnny” McElfresh, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Missy; parents, Steve and Diane; children, David Oliver, Kaiden Daniels, Kenslei Gillip, Ella Gillip, and Emma Oliver; parents, Springfield, Missouri; brother, Russell Oliver (Christine), Springfield; grandmother, Goldie Oliver, Springfield; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Farewell Services 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 31, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Bennett Lane Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 30, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Online guestbook and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
