Shana Marie (Jackson) Onikede
1978-2017

Shana Marie (Jackson) Onikede, 39, Atlanta, Georgia, formerly of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017.
Shana was born in St. Joseph, MO on March 2, 1978, eldest child of Dee Anna Jackson. In 1996, she graduated from Central High School in St. Joseph and went to Dallas, TX to receive her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2005. She married Solomon Onikede and moved to Cincinnati, OH and settled in Atlanta, GA. They had one child, Adrian (4). Shana worked for many years as a registered nurse helping countless patients all over the United States.
Shana is preceded in death by her father; a sister; and great-grandparents, Theodore & Clara Jackson.
Survivors include her child, Adrian; mother; siblings, Nichole (Charlie Jr.), Jimmy (Kelly), and Glenn (Katrina), cousin Tremayne “Tiger”; nieces Amani, Maya and Everly; nephew Jameson; special great- aunt, Mary Timms; and a host of other siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Farewell Services 1:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
